To take this BTTC as I still can’t believe it’s been since 2006 the last time Iowa won the thing and before that I believe 2001? Talking about overdue? Iowa is definitely well overdue and they need to STOMP each and every team that’s in front of them as 15 YEARS is way too long! After the Hawks take care of business they need to carry it to the NCAA TOURNAMENT... then start squashing the teams in their way all the way to the final four ... I won’t be happy with a sweet 16 birth and I am pretty damn sure the players, coaches etc have their sights a little higher.

No matter what happens and as long as Iowa can play to its best ability even if it’s in defeat I will be happy and very proud of the team. I still say this is a very special and precious year for Iowa BB... when these kids put their heart and soul into winning they’re going to be a team to be reckoned with... Go Hawks!!!

I want Iowa to win the BTT as much as anyone, but Id trade that for a deep NCAA run. If weezy isn't 100%, I hope they let him continue to rest during the BTT and continue to give Murray more PT
