Other teams are making everything they are putting up against us and we aren't shooting well. Simple as that.
We can talk about all the other factors but when you have a hand in a guys face and they make it from 24 ft...not much else you can do.

Also are a reason. I mean you lose by 3pts and those 9 misses at the line creep back up. That's not good for a senior lead team.

Majority of the time there isn't a hand in their face when they are draining those 3s. Sloppy defense over the last month has been the problem. Shooting can come and go but defense should always be there and Iowa's isn't. In the last 5 losses the teams have beaten Iowa by shooting well over 40%. Its a trend. And the trend is really bad defense.

here is how Iowa ended the game after going up 74 - 72 with 4:36 left...

JU FG 0-3 3's 0-1
MG FG 0-1
AC FG 1-5 3's 1-3 FT 0-2
AW FT 1-2
PJ FG 0-3 3's 0-2

So they ended up 1-12 on FG 1-6 on 3's and 1-4 on FT...and you had Clemmons take 5 shots and 3 3's in that time...pretty poor..!!
