Big positive—I got to see our O line recruit in person last night in person. He is a big boy—all of 6’6”-6’7” and with a big frame. He looked mobile and strong with long arms. I am excited to see what type of lineman he will turn into, but initial impression was very positive for me. He dominated on the line. Played both left and right tackle for a very talented high school team from Madison, WI area.
Negatives—my boys team got beat 54-14….and Iowa State’s tight end recruit Keller—from the same squad as our O Line recruit Dotzler—looked like an absolute stud and was nearly unstoppable,on a high school field vs kids who were smaller.
Final note—as both teams were shaking hands after game and when my boy shook Keller’s hand(the kid going to Iowa State)—he gave him a “Go Hawks!”
