Jack Nunge Suffers Torn ACL

I am not as worried about the depth, as I felt Kreiner should have been getting more minutes anyway. It will create more opportunity for Pemsl, who is crafty and tough, but limited athletically and not a great shooter. But nucleus of Garza/Kreiner/Pemsl for the C/PF spots will leave us in good shape. Many teams run 3G lineups anyway, so not terribly concerned about perceived lack our size.

The guy I was hoping might make more progress early is Patrick. He seems destined for a RS.

A lot of pressure on CMac/Toussant/Weezy/CJF to largely man the other 3 spots. Hoping JoBo can turn the corner....as I do not have high hopes for Evelyn.

Yep, it's a guards game. The team that is better equipped at the guard positions have a leg up on the competition imo.

I imagine he transfers to a lower level after this, just not a big ten caliber guy

Rightfully or wrongfully, Fran believed in him enough to start him over senior Kriener and Pemsl, so you’d have to imagine he won’t be putting much (any) pressure on Nunge to leave

Especially since Cordell spend a good part of the 2nd half playing the 5. Pemsl is now 6'9" and nearly back to 250lbs. He's good at getting position down low. Struggles a bit shooting over longer guys, but can be crafty and being left handed often helps against teams early in the year but come BigTen he's got to develop a counter move an be able to finish over his left shoulder too.
Dude cmon, Pemsl is no more 6'9" the Brunner was??? Where are you getting that from. CP is MAYBE 6'7" maybe. He's no where close to Kreiner or even Pmac..... I see now you must have pulled that off the basketball roster where they now have him listed at 6"9" 248 lbs. I guarantee you that is a big stretch at least in the height. Maybe thats why he poofed his hair back up......
