This is reflective of where the Iowa BB program under Fran McCaffery has arrived since 2011. Remember the days when some were questioning if Fran could "close"? Iowa basketball was an after thought before Fran..now we see the interest of some really good recruits.
No we will not get all of them..but it does start with visits which means interest.
Iowa has a lot to offer high school prospects. A supportive program on the court but also off. The opportunity of a first class education & the chance to walk away with a degree. Basketball doesnt last forever after college...there are a lot of opportunities for anyone having played B1G BB with a degree in your back pocket.
And...Fran hasnt taken short cuts. He recruits players that fit who come from many backgrounds but have a single common factor..they are good young men.
Like these two.

Looks like everything you would want in a PG. With all of the big-time recruits visiting, it makes you want to update your wish list every time a new one is announced.
I would really like our chances if we were an Adidas basketball school, then we would be on a level playing field with the other schools bagmen
Iowa may end up on a even playing field after the FBI gets done.

List indicates perhaps a preference for schools within 500 miles of home or so. May give us a slightly better chance than normal, but ISU is perhaps the best combination of program and distance. We have the more talented roster
