I worked for a major corporation that whenever someone in any management position gave 2 weeks notice security would escort them to their desk and let them gather personal stuff and walk them out, They would be paid the two weeks pay. If terminated by company they would be walked out immediately and HR would gather their personal effects and mail it to them.

Everywhere I've worked if you were an executive and got let go you were walked out the door. Pretty sure that's common place these days.
