Two years after leaving office, Joe Biden couldn’t resist the temptation last year to brag to an audience of foreign policy specialists about the time as vice president that he strong-armed Ukraine into firing its top prosecutor.

In his own words, with video cameras rolling, Biden described how he threatened Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in March 2016 that the Obama administration would pull $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees, sending the former Soviet republic toward insolvency, if it didn’t immediately fire Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin.

“I said, ‘You’re not getting the billion.’ I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money,’” Biden recalled telling Poroshenko.

“Well, son of a bitch, he got fired. And they put in place someone who was solid at the time,” Biden told the Council on Foreign Relations event, insisting that President Obama was in on the threat.

But Ukrainian officials tell me there was one crucial piece of information that Biden must have known but didn’t mention to his audience: The prosecutor he got fired was leading a wide-ranging corruption probe into the natural gas firm Burisma Holdings that employed Biden’s younger son, Hunter, as a board member.

U.S. banking records show Hunter Biden’s American-based firm, Rosemont Seneca Partners LLC, received regular transfers into one of its accounts — usually more than $166,000 a month — from Burisma from spring 2014 through fall 2015, during a period when Vice President Biden was the main U.S. official dealing with Ukraine and its tense relations with Russia.

What is the source of this?

Who produced it?

If the facts matter to you at all it may interest you to know that Viktor Shokin had already investigated the matter and allowed to to go dormant when he was let go...let go for not vigorously pursuing corruption in Ukraine.

The only connection that Hunter Biden has to this story is that he used his father's good name to grab a cushy board slot at the gas company in question...Hunter Biden himself was never accused of any wrong doing in this matter.

You are arguing with someone who posted a produced propaganda piece. Not a regular poster. Dont feed these bots.

We're going to have to impeach every president going back to Thomas Jefferson if this is the standard.....

I've seen several posters posting this clip of Biden. Why? Nobody is denying he said this. What do you think this proves?
Uhhh, that he's using the power of the VPOTUS to fill his son's pockets with cash and ensure that Hunter doesn't end up in jail.

Full disclosure: won't be voting for Trump, or Biden, or for that matter any other ethically challenged clown that ends up with the nomination. But for sheer entertainment value you just can't beat this shit!!! :p

You are spouting pure bullshit.

Way to believe Trump's BS. Thought you were smarter than that.

I don’t believe Donny’s BS and won’t be voting for him. Just going to stubbornly cling to my belief that EVERYONE in that town is unworthy to be a part-time janitor, let alone someone that should be entrusted to rule the free world.

Sorry to disappoint you.

So, Mr Totally-Not-A-Trump-Voter (hardy har har) doesn't really care or is engaged by Trump's completely unprecedented and criminal activity per attempted collusion/conspiracy with a foreign country, but is totally energized and outraged about the completely standard activities (for our political system and both parties) of the Biden family.

Bet if you're old enough you were really outraged when Reagan took the million from the Japanese.

I'm up for a discussion of this type of cashing in by the families of the political classes, but here it's just an attempt to deflect and distract from the crimes of the current President.

Pretty hard to vote for Trump when you don’t vote. Politics is purely a spectator sport for me, though I would have considered voting for Tulsi before she faded away.

Donny has admitted to doing something that is criminal, according to judge Napalitano, who is certainly no partisan hack. That’s good enough for me.

Looks like the idiot Dem leadership finally decided they had a conundrum: how do you beat an old, white, creepy perv with mental issues and a Ukraine problem by running an old, white, creepy perv with mental issues and a Ukraine problem against him? At this point impeachment proceedings became the only available option for a desperate party.

What a clusterf*#k :p:p:p

It sure isn’t going to help Biden.

I bet Warren is smelling the chum in the water.

Wait... the guy investigated this matter and decided not to pursue it... and then got fired for not pursuing corruption (vigorously, I might add)... somehow vindicates the Bidens?

You can't make this up.
