Joel Booker Assigned To Triple A Charlotte

Booker has been assigned to Charlotte out of spring training after just Single A last year. I would not be surprised to see him called up this year.

Good for him. His speed and defensive versatility make him a great candidate as a 4th or 5th outfielder at the MLB level, which is a good gig. Will likely have to hit more to become a MLB regular. Hopefully he stays healthy and puts up good numbers to get the callup. He's in an organization right now that is giving young players opportunity, so he's in the right place.
