Just feeling it. I've watched him really begin to grow as a more complete player.

The coup de gras will be a huge shooting/scoring night. At least 25, if not more. Hopefully in a winning effort.

Not exactly a bold prediction, as he shoots plenty. Eventually, one would think he will get hot for an entire game and get his percentages out of the 30s. I like his scoring mindset, but he needs to improve in his shot selection and efficiency.

Currently, Jok is the #2 scorer on the Hawkeyes with a
13.1 average. Uthoff is #1 with 18.6 points per game.
On some nights, Jok has poor shot selection. He needs
to get that cleaned up.

In the Nebraska game, Jok had a really nice quick pass from the wing to Bear heading to the basket. I would agree that Jok is growing like so many Hawks. Court awareness, rebounding, defense, steals, and making progress on getting tougher. I would love to see him finish his moves to the basket. Next year maybe add a post up move.

He's doing other things that make him a better rounded player. I'll up the ante if you think I'm shooting too low. 30 points. How's that sucker?

Conference teams are chasing him all over and guarding out to the 3 point line. He has been taking deeper 3's and shooting under pressure, which IMO, has resulted in some colder shooting. I like that Fran goes to him out of timeouts and when he checks back into games, as it only takes 1-2 makes for him to start feeling it. As the season progresses, I hope Fran runs more action to get him open off screens and inbound plays for 15-17 footers. Jok has a sweet stroke and quick release, but isn't a great shot creator.

He is averaging about twelve shots a game now. If he starts taking double that, he had better increase his shooting % by a ton or he will sitting next to the coaching staff on the bench.

During the Michigan game last Sunday, Iowa was setting double low post picks with Jok and Uthoff crossing through the lane to get the ball on the wing. I think Uthoff ended up with the ball on the couple times I noticed the set play and buried them both. Nice to have that kind of shooting combination at the same time. Call it the Steph Curry/Clay Thompson combo of college basketball =)

His FG % is now 42.7%, including over 40% from 3-point land. Looks like he's been listening to you.

He has all the pieces....but he seemed a little sloppy with the ball on O...a little inconsistant on D against the Scarlet Raiders...we need him to play a complete game....every game. A huge bright spot none the less.
