I have never, ever in my life cared about who the WR coach is and I'm not going to start now. Like, who was the greatest Iowa WR coach of all time? No clue.
Bud being a former QB could bring good perspective. Will also be good for him to get out of the office/booth and hands on with players on the field. I like that he can work directly with another former QB (ad HC) in trying to resurrect things.
I would argue that coaching TEs is much more difficult than WRs as you have to understand and teach fronts along with coverages and routes, etc. But, some on this board think we just magically roll TEs off the press.
