Good luck JJ. Thanks for a great season. Will go down as perhaps the best CB season in Hawk history and that is no small feat.

x2, sorry to see such a standout player finish his Hawkeye career early...but he does seem ready for the next stage of his football career and I wish him the very best. It still blows me away that he was primarily a backup player in 2016 and now, roughly 12 months later, he is held in such high regard. (Deservedly so IMO, but it is wild to think about too.)

He'll be missed for sure. We've had some huge success at that position recently. I was sure King's shoes would be hard to fill and along comes Josh. It'll be interesting to see if another player steps up again for the 2018 season.

What a joy to watch this young man play this season. He made the right choice. I hope he stays healthy and enjoys a long NFL career.

I checked in to this, and the rule really is "where the ball was when the defender first possessed it", regardless of where it was when his foot came down or when he was down like an offensive player would be down. They called it correctly.

Crazy to think was #3 last year in the CB rotation and now is going Pro. The kid is gonna make millions and hopefully can help us get a few more texas kids into IC.
