Juan harris

Other than Illinois writers confirming he was at their camp over the weekend, everything else would be speculation. He was for sure at Illinois, though.
Sorry, I meant all the other gossip besides that. I don't mind if he visits somewhere else. Not exactly out of the ordinary.

Hope he stays because he's a space eater in the middle. With a solid D line everyone else on D's game is better.

Young people do dumb stuff all the time. I wouldn't worry too much about what Juan Harris does one way or the other. If he ends up wanting to be a Hawk ... great. If he doesn't ... fine. At the end of the day, Iowa needs/wants guys who WANT to be Hawks and guys who will be invested. Harris is young and immature ... and ultimately, the decision of where to attend college is in his hands.

Not sure we can limit 'dumb stuff' to 'young people'. Other than that I agree completely with your comments.

247 said Harris was the best defensive player on the field at the Detroit SMSB camp. There were at least 6 4* defenders in attendance.

Aside from the obvious red flags this throws up for any program with this kid, i frankly wonder if he'll even make long enough in college to contribute

There is definitely something not right. Somewhere along the line he is getting horrible advice and horrible guidance.

He said he wants to go to the next level and with Lovie and NFL experience might lure him there. I knew Lovie would have an impact on Iowa getting Illinois kids to come to Iowa.

Mr hawk saying it was a big mistake for Iowa to not show Juan more love. Mr hawk says big Juan is the most pro ready prospect to come out of the state of Iowa in 3 decades

I hope Iowa is done with him.

I remember wondering when I read what his shot put throws at state were if he was a legit 'stud' or not. And then thinking iowa wouldn't stick with him after all that drama if he wasn't. Anyone remember what his long throw was? It was very pedestrian compared to our other recruits.

Harris finished 23rd throwing 41'11.5"

Levi Duwa another Iowa commit finished 2nd at State and threw 57'9.5". Winning throw was over 61' by a sophomore no less.
