Just cancel the season already

Just catering to the doomsday people out there that think we suck. Was that the game we all hoped to see? No. Did we have the outcome that we wanted? Yes, a win. A win with our team captain on defense not playing the majority of the game and another starting DE hurt. A win with Kirk doing what he loves to do when he has a big lead, pull back.

This team has improvements to work on, but to get a win by the margin we did and still not close to our peak, good things people. Hawkeye Football is back!!! Go Hawks!!!!!

Remember when we kept telling ourselves this after the first few games two years ago and then got whipped around in conference and worse yet in the bowl game?

I'm not folding the tent, but I am a bit concerned about the defense.
