after 18years (or whatever it has been) - there should be no more "little things" to fix. you make 4 million a year, little things shouldn't even be in the equation.

KF is brilliant, he has managed to get these contracts from the AD and only be "average"... I would take what we currently have a lot better if the coach were new, with the staff that we have at the age they are there should be immediate - game time -remediation for "little things".

Hey, come on now, don't worry. KF-coached Iowa teams ALWAYS get better as the season progresses. It's been proven to be 100 percent true somewhere between 0 and 100 percent of the time.

"Brilliant" is such a strong word when it comes to the brainpower required to outfox Gary Barta in contract negotiations. Even Jim Varney from "Ernest Saves Christmas" could have managed to wring a 10-year-extension out of ol' Gary.
