You talking about Jay?Many players would not have waited three years playing behind one of Iowa's all time great LBs, but I'm very glad he did. I hope to see him playing on Sundays next year.
Will be remembered as one of the great Hawkeyes. Always humble, always crediting teammates. We've been lucky to have him. Go get paid and have a great, long NFL career young man.
KJ seems like a fantastic dude. I hope he gets his NFL money and enjoys a long and successful life. It reminds you that in this time of chaos and confusion all over the country, including college football, there really are some good people out there. KJ surely seems to be one of them. Thanks for a great season, young man. You did yourself and the Hawkeyes proud.Man, right up there with the all time greats to play here. This hits you as a fan too.
Agreed. Too close to a big payday.wouldn't blame him at all if he skips the meaningless bowl game
I really think it is best for him to skip the bowl game. Skipping the game means his next competition is the Draft workouts. That looks like a guy who is done. I’m about 99% sure he doesn’t come back next year and about 60% sure he may opt out of the bowl game.
Virtually nothing to gain. Significant potential to lose.I really think it is best for him to skip the bowl game. Skipping the game means his next competition is the Draft workouts.

Good for him1 Seems like the right decision. Shelf life for an RB is not that long.
Get paid!
What is truly amazing is that so many of his run attempts had no chance. Brick wall. UCLA, Nebraska, OSU - so many carries with no hope of gaining yards and he still averaged 6.4 yds per carry? Amazing. For the 2024 Season:
1,537 Rushing Yards
6.4 yards/attempt
21 Touchdowns
128.1 yards/game
188 Receiving Yards
8.5 yards/reception
2 Touchdowns
Oh, BS.It reminds you that in this time of chaos and confusion all over the country…
State. You did it again ! You just can’t help yourself can you.Oh, BS.

Average is of course over the whole season. Those games pulled his numbers down. Midway through the season he was averaging almost 8 yds a carry. An incredible number at a P4 school. At that point he was also close in totals to the Boise State RB. That race ended as Kj had to play against several of the top defenses in the nation against the run while Jeanty ran against MW teams....What is truly amazing is that so many of his run attempts had no chance. Fantastic young man. I look forward to seeing him on Sundays.
When you watch that video you have to think those kisses to the crowd was his way of saying goodbye to the Kinnick crowd. Never seen him do that before....
Unless I missed it somewhere I assume by KJ's announcement means he will not play in the Bowl?
Plus we can see the other backs run more. I really like how Moulton and Patterson run.I really think it is best for him to skip the bowl game. Skipping the game means his next competition is the Draft workouts.
