Man that run after the catch is one of the greatest plays in Iowa history.
That was ALL him.
The play had no business getting a few yards at the most.

You nailed it. KJ had to do almost everything the hard way. That average, given the nine-man boxes he was ordered to run into over and over and over and over is absolutely incredible. Imagine his numbers if Iowa had a passing game the other team had to respect . . . even just a little. I'm pretty sure KJ did more with less than any other running back in the country. It's just a horrible shame his team and his coaches couldn't have helped him out more than they did. What is truly amazing is that so many of his run attempts had no chance. Brick wall. UCLA, Nebraska, OSU - so many carries with no hope of gaining yards and he still averaged 6.4 yds per carry? Amazing.
it will be interesting to see what his numbers are at the NFL CombineReally enjoyed watching him play. Speed, strength, balance, vision, desire: He had it all. A good person. Hope he makes boatloads of money. He sure gave it all for Iowa. Thank you son.
