The Dems GAVE the GOP what they wanted……and Trumpf said “No, I need the noise!” The GOP fell in line. The solution is out there and both sides know it…….There has to be a “path to citizenship” especially for those who have been working and paying taxes in the States for years…..there is no way in hell anyone is gonna “deport” 16 million residents of the US “back home”……Immigration quotas need to reflect the realities of immigration today. Hans…it is not a simple problem but there needs to be a “basic agreement” reached by Congress (whose job it is!) and it will have to be revisited and revised as needed. It will be an on-going process.

I get your point, but national polls aren't "meaningless," although one single poll 3 months prior to the election doesn't carry a lot of weight.
National polls are an indication of trends, and an 8-point lead nationally is an indication that the middle is going strong one way. No one has won the presidential election by 8+ points since Clinton's reelection. If Kamala actually won this thing by 8 points, she wouldn't be worrying about swing states; she'd be looking to see if she were able to turn Florida or Texas blue....
I know this likely won’t happen and is some serious hopium. But if RFK jr stays on the ballot in Texas and takes away 3% of the Republican votes, and the Dems continue to gain 3% again this election, she would win Texas.

So with the swing states being flipped in most polls and general election polls even showing bigger flip with convention bump coming up, now is a good time to point out Biden was the candidate and free falling a mere 20 days ago. This has all happened in 20 days.
The Democrats have more energy than I have seen since 2008, and honestly it may be even more than then with the backdrop of a crazy and dangerous opponent and pissed off women.
Meanwhile MAGA really seems to be wobbling big time and their false god has aged about 10 years suddenly and now comes off like the ranty crazy old man shouting nonsense at the sky. If this momentum continues for another 20 days, Republican congressional and Senators on ballot will start bailing to save their respective seats.
