Kamala Town Hall Anal-ysis

Wtf is wrong with her for real? She may actually be the least qualified presidential candidate of all time..
Steve Harvey Cringe GIF by ABC Network

As you can see I voted for her. But guess what?

She's totally non responsive, her responses are canned, vague and don't address the questions whatsoever.

But I voted for her and still would until Trump is gone.

Think about it this way. The gop could have run a ham sandwich not named Trump and won in a landslide. But no:

You ran a bigoted, demented, cult leader who lives on your bigotry and racism and will most likely lose, bigly.

Let that bathe over you magats. This is your gop party now. You have excluded people like me who are confused by the availability of any sane politician and have instead given us awful choices.

Seeing this town hall is depressing but the gop needs a fking enema. Thanks for letting us win by running a 🤡
I’mfeeling the same way. No good choices. Despise the progressive movement, though see some need for tax code change helping the middle class. I’d vote for a blue dog Democrat that was centrist on social issues and liberal on taxes, but got rid of advanced earned income credit.

Wow. Nice spelling job, by the way. I live in Maryland. My vote doesn’t count. If I lived in a competitive state, I would be voting Harris. I have never, ever voted Trump. You may have surpassed Chis level unhinged, calling my wife a “hoor”.

It’s pretty incredible what this election is doing to people. Its crazy.

And the exact same thing can be said of the democrats running such a pathetic non qualified candidate. The dems went from trying to hide and re-run a person with obvious mental decline, to one who is an idiot with zero input from we the people. A strong candidate would have wiped the floor with a weakened Trump.
Sorry, there's no high ground in the sewer.

TJ Hall is taking way too much flack for errors by Quinn Schultz. Rewatch the plays your bitch about, check the coverage. His two penalties, one special teams and the bs call last week were both horseshit. He’s not great, but he will be, and he’s not as bad as most of you think. When linebackers don’t drop into their zone and safeties **** up, it makes corners doing their job look like shit. Toughest position on defense.

Only MAGA think she isn't qualified.

I'm not saying she's insincere. I think she's got a good heart and empathy. She's just not very responsive to any question. Maybe that's her style or she doesn't want to make an Oops in a close contest.
She will be a puppet and will do what those actually in charge tell her to do. She can't answer questions because she has no clue what she is doing.

I truly think democrats govern more close to centrist on social issues than Republican leaders say they do. They get accused of stuff that they aren't actually writing bills for - Republicans are VERY good at putting them on the defensive. If Kamala wins I bet very quickly they pivot to saying all us libs want men playing girls' sports which is patently false, but their voters will believe it.

The FAR left has no power in the party. The FAR right OWNS the Republican Party now.

This is what catering to the extreme left of your party has begotten. No one in the party willing to speak up on an issue that the vast majority of American's agree on.

It does. If half of Kamala voters died, this country’s IQ would plummet and all of our institutions would break down. If half of Trump’s voters died, the only ones that would suffer would be fast food franchises, home shopping networks, televangelists, and the trailer home industry. These worthless pieces of shit can’t die off fast enough.
I'm not prepared to say this is the dumbest take on this site, bc there are a lot of people like you and joes place creeping around, but this is definitely high up on that list lol imagine watching kamala on CNN last night and immediately thinking "yeah, all the smart people like this person". You're actually clueless.

Lol, only complete idiots blinded by political ideology think she is. This thread is full of hard core dems admitting she's awful. It's okay to admit it and still vote however you want you know.
Please. You may not like her, but she is qualified.

I will even give you that Trump, as stupid and senile as he is, is qualified based solely on being a past president.

We are seriously fooked. We have two complete and total morons running for the highest office in the world. Gladly sitting this one out hoping it all burns down.
I mean, in our defense, there’s ONLY like 160 million adults in this country eligible to be POTUS. That’s not a lot to choose from.

We’d honestly be better off picking random people from a phone book to be our ‘leaders’.

You're joking, right? If they were catering to the far left there would be bills written and voted on forcing girls to play with boys in high school and college sports. It's like everything I typed went over your head. The entire Republican Party is now the RADICAL RIGHT of their party. The Democrats are not run by the wackos on the far left. Hell, Biden is more like Reagan and Bush than your current leaders.

Is Kamala a great or even good candidate. No. I think she is mediocre, I don’t think she is as awful as you make it seem and am mildly curious why you think that.

Regardless, if most independents like you and I vote third party / refuse to vote that is not a “burn it all down” scenario. That is a “MAGA gets validated” scenario. The best hope we have is that Trump gets crushed and the GOP realizes they cannot continue to hitch their wagon to a leader who is not fiscally conservative, a leader who doesn’t have policies that will lead to a better future for our kids, a leader who only cares about himself.

The only way I see the GOP fixing itself is if America soundly rebukes MAGA in the election and the only way that happens is with four years of Kamala. I know it kinda sucks, but that is the pragmatic choice if you really want change.

That’s why I’m voting for Harris.

We are literally watching what happened in Germany in the 1930s, live, in the USA. The differences aren't hard to see between Trump and Harris, but people like him work REALLY hard to not find them. SMH.
Not true at all. I see huge differences between the 2. I know he has disqualified himself from ever getting my vote. I also happen to think she is a poor candidate (in a very DIFFERENT way from him) and she hasn't earned my vote. Why can't both things be true?

Trying to compare Kamala to Trump, as candidates, in any vein is completely ridiculous. People don't seem to like Kamala on feelings. If you don't like Biden's actual POLICIES, then fine, but the people who are afraid of her or don't think she's a good candidate aren't actually using facts or logic. What damage do you think she's going to do? What policy that she has talked about are you guys scared of?

Trump is a POS, the worst president in U.S. history AND the worst possible candidate to run for president.

I wish Kamala could/would answer a direct question with a direct answer. Her answers come across as complete bullshit. She’s either avoiding answering or she doesn’t know the answer. Either way is not a good look.

I’m still voting Harris.
The answers she gave regarding the Palestinians and Israel really were a "no win" for her.
I agree she didn't give a direct response.
There's a sizable Arab population on Michigan and a sizeable Jewish population in Pennsylvania.
She tried to appease both and it was a difficult situation.
Whether or not it hurt her is TBD.

Totally.
Ms President Harris, we are being bombed and attacked from Russia and North Korea what should we do.
Harris: Give me a couple of days to think about it and I will get back to you.
A couple of days go by and all she does is point out the things she did wrong in the last 2 days with no plan of what to do to fix them or how to move forward.
Herr Trump would say surrender because those are my heroes and I will do what I can to help them take over your country.

Many of the people who claim they don't like her policies really mean they don't like minorities or women in politics. If questioned about policy, they would babble about socialism, LGBTQ or open borders none of which are a problem.

Again, I am not comparing them. She doesn't get my vote based on her own merits, regardless of Trump. He doesn't get my vote either. I don't care for her policies but am even more concerned about what appears to be the absence of a guiding philosophy and a willingness to bend her opinions to the prevailing political wind. At some point, I think that leads to problems. I am though, much more confident in the people she will surround herself with than I am the people Trump would, and that is definitely a plus for her. I am not the least bit afraid of her, but to watch her in these interviews and say that people who don't "think she's a good candidate aren't actually using facts or logic" is delusional. In fact, it's the exact opposite. The one who watches her and evaluates her as a "good candidate" is not using facts or logic. They are viewing her through their hatred of the other candidate. Which frankly, is OK by me. But don't think that others can't look at her objectively and come to the opposite conclusion.

I would appreciate a candidate whose strategy is going to be more than "I will surround myself with good people." While I appreciate the fact that she is willing to do that while Trump clearly hasn't and won't, it isn't enough. She really hasn't done much in four years. She can't even make things up to sound like she has.

I want a candidate that I can be excited to vote for, not one that is just better than the guy wearing diapers. That goes for the Republican side too because I have voted Republican in the past. Give me smart, humble, genuine and someone that can think on their feet while staying away from recess insults like "fatty fatty 2x4". It is only the most important job in the world. We should elect/hire like it.

If the job isn't important enough to have someone in it that will put up with the uncomfortableness of country over party, then I am all for burning it down.

I hear you, I just think you won’t get a “burn it down” point in your scenario. What you will get is a reinforcement of the current status quo if too many people think as you do. Kamala needs independents to win, Trump does not. So that path leads to a Trump victory and MAGA will feel vindicated. The GOP will continue its shift away from mainstream Americans. The Dems will over react shifting to the left as a response.

What I want is a chance for competent moderates to reassert themselves and for that to happen I honestly think MAGA has to be dismantled.
