What difference does it make if one is out on the street and has no means to support their family or themselves? I would argue that most homeless people have had a catastrophic, or "historic" event that has resulted in their hardship.

For what it's worth, I never said to deny anyone aid. I just find it amusing that some of the same folks shouting "SOCIALISM!" are now the ones begging for it.
