That’s big news. She is working hard this fall in her game. I’m excited to see how her work translates to her play next season.
RIP everyone that made Money Martin's jersey the 4th most sold jersey in the WNBA.
I wonder who they protected instead of her. If it was Stokes, that'd prob be a mistake.
What does she provide to the team? The most timid 6'3" I've seen. Can't shoot, doesn't really rebound, no assists, just kinda floats around for 17 minutes. Such an odd thing. Sorry that comes off in such an aggressive tone but her "game" is an enigma to me.
8 years of experience, but that's about it. She's going to need to be replaced soon.
The Golden State head coach was an assistant coach with the Aces the past three seasons. She knows Martin well.
Hopefully ends up back on the court. And I hope she makes the Aces look stupid.

Hope Kate has success on the new team. I just can't believe she was traded, thought she had found a great home with the Aces.
She's the only 4 on the team that was a good defender. Hopefully this means they have someone lined up to fill that role.
There were a few moments where they had her sprint the court like Stuelke. Was hoping to see more of that.
She did have great chemistry with CC. Just seems injury prone.
And 32, in all honesty I’m not sure how free agency even works in the WNBA. You’d have to think if they were aggressive they’d have great options knocking on the door but I’d have thought they’d have some folks lined up by now. Hence my statement I don’t even understand conceptually how it works and when to expect news 🤷♂️
I'm reading Fever fans are dumbfounded Temi was not protected.
The other thing about Temi is that she seemed to be the only Fever that even pretended to be willing to physically defend CC after a hard foul. Definitely wish that she was still on the team.

Seems to me to be a great opportunity for Kate to get more playing time, I hoe it works out.
I was always glad when she came in for the sack of potatoes.
She wasn't traded. Each team can only protect 6 players on their roster....
They probably couldn't do much until after this expansion draft and then see where the pieces fell...
Amended post - Fever fans are in full rebellion. Total meltdown over letting Temi go. Someone's got some 'plainnin' to do.

New coach, new club. Looks like a roster overhaul. Building around CC, Boston, Hull, and, hopefully, Mitchell. The Fever will be better.

If Megan Gustafson wasn’t protected then there’s your answer Indiana.
Will fight for rebounds, runs well, has shot above 50% at every level, has developed range (35% or above 3 years running), team centered, fan friendly ….a lot of positives. She isn’t getting minutes - that’s it ( around 10min/game on average, too many DNPs). Go get her.
Going to cost Kate megabucks. Cost of living in San Fran is WAY more than Vegas.
Temi is a restricted free agent. Some team could come in and offer big bucks for her and make it hard for the Fever to match. Also think this may mean the Fever are pursuing Ogwumike from Seattle in free agency.

But seriously, with salary and merch/sponsor income, she will be fine. Her outside income could really take off.
