Just an observation after last night’s thriller. Kate Martin, again, showed why she might be the most important Hawk not named Caitlin. Her three buckets late in the 4th kept UConn on their back foot and proved how vital playing as a team is for success. 8 rebounds too. She is the Captain and the glue for this team. Not sure the Hawks would be in the final without her. She deserves all the recognition she can get from Hawk fans and fans of women’s basketball.
