Wouldn’t it be wonderful for Keckeisen to join HWC and be around to continue training with Buchanan (assuming different weights) and then help out with Ludington, Mocco (fingers crossed) and Ferrari — plus, anyone else in the range.

Come on Uncle Bob, work your magic !!!

Agree.

I don’t have Bob’s money or influence but I would think creating the best RTC by sponsoring world class athletes is a good strategic solution to building the Iowa program. It doesn’t directly put undergrads on the mats (that’s a tactical solution) but it creates an environment where recruits would aspire to practice. “Build it and they will come.”

I can’t imagine what opportunities being a part of the Iowa and HWC could do for guy like Keck. Hard to see any upside🤔
The HWC is a shell of what it used to be.. He doesn’t care about money and would have better training partners elsewhere. HWC has Buchanan, who might be at the same weight, and?

Iowa is one of basically 3 programs with the biggest donor/fanbases. If he has aspirations to coach I’d think it would benefit to network this program. There are some pretty elite upper weights he could work with and attach himself to their progress. And even if he doesn’t care about money he’s still gotta live while he’s training. Iowa wouldn’t be a bad move. I think Buchanan would be 92kg vs him at 86kg. I think it would make sense for Iowa to try to lure him in to help with Kennedy/Arnold/ferrari/Luddington..

Who are the elite upper weights? He doesn't care about money. He will be a UNI coach. Keep explaining.

Coaching. Never said he would train there. Follow along.
So he goes to PSU to train with Dake and Starocci or OSU with Taylor who hasn’t said he’s done? Direct competitors. Making guys at Iowa better coukd be a feather in his cap. And there will be coaching openings in the near future. These guys are never about money till the opportunity arises….Lee Roper cough cough.

You are flailing. I know what I speak of.

I don’t think anyone here is saying it would be the best place for him to go. But, you are just being a dickhead on the actual Iowa site acting like it would be a “bad” place to go. As has been said over and over, which you have flat out ignored, there are only a couple places that are clearly better and you could actually argue that PSU is really the only one.

So, yeah you are just being a dick…

You hurt my feelings. Please point out to me where I said Iowa would be a bad place to go. You crack me up.

Just because you didn’t use the exact word doesn’t mean you aren’t “acting like it is a bad place to go.” Words have meaning no matter how disingenuous your responses.

You know damn well you have been belittling anyone even mentioning Keck to Iowa from the start. Again, what location(s) besides PSU would clearly be better? Make sure to use facts instead of feelings if you actually answer instead of continuing to deflect…

Drunk or high?
You understand that the training partners are not all suppose to be world champs, right? I mean all these guys are world class for their age and weight class and would make outstanding practice/training partners for Keck. But, continue on with your Iowa hate, troll

Of course I hate Iowa and got to almost all their home duals. Think-skinned biatches. Must be fake Spartans.

Keck was honorable staying at UNI, but I think it is in his best interest to find an RTC that can provide him everything he needs to prepare for an Olympic run in 2028. That place is certainly not Cedar Falls. Let's not forget, his main coach is headed to Stillwater. No, I don't think Keck ends up there but possibly one of the other power programs.

OSU is a strong lean for Keck
