Keckeisen

Keck was honorable staying at UNI, but I think it is in his best interest to find an RTC that can provide him everything he needs to prepare for an Olympic run in 2028. That place is certainly not Cedar Falls. Let's not forget, his main coach is headed to Stillwater. No, I don't think Keck ends up there but possibly one of the other power programs.
Hes better off staying under doug S than HWC

I can’t imagine what opportunities being a part of the Iowa and HWC could do for guy like Keck. Hard to see any upside🤔
Arnold, Ferrari, Buchanan, Keuter, Michael Mocco, Telford, Kennedy, Spencer (tilts), and rumored to be bringing in some upper weight talent in the HWC

Isn't Ono better off staying in Japan then? After all, he's already a World Champ. I must have missed the article that the Olympics is switching to folkstyle, or the article highlighting all of PSU's success stories at lightweights

For starters, HWC can offer him more money

Wouldn’t it be wonderful for Keckeisen to join HWC and be around to continue training with Buchanan (assuming different weights) and then help out with Ludington, Mocco (fingers crossed) and Ferrari — plus, anyone else in the range.

Come on Uncle Bob, work your magic !!!
Heaven forbid we bring in HWC talent from the outside. Gotta save dollars for Ybarra.

I think we bring in 2-3 young guys that have a minimum of ncaa title if not senior level hardware. The recipe is already written in that area for success. Some of your best plus the best in the country on other teams(Snyder;dake)

The HWC is a shell of what it used to be.. He doesn’t care about money and would have better training partners elsewhere. HWC has Buchanan, who might be at the same weight, and?
Training partners. Angelo Ferari, Buchanan, Arnold, Kennedy, Ludington, Warner, Kueter, Caliendo, Marinelli, Young, Beatty, and Morningstar. Plenty of training partners in Iowa City for him to succeed.

A person who had never wrestled for HWC at that time. Interesting.
You're right, this is very interesting. Like super duper interesting. And Synder trained at OSU and won gold, and Dake trained freestyle at Cornell ....does PSU get credit IF they were in Olympic finals? But, don't think too hard because neither were in the Finals. Nor was Zain and Brooks...

It’s funny how the Brands and HWC were ok when Perry was here with a few women being part of the HWC but wanted nothing to do with women being under the HWC as a combined club when the women’s program started. But now allows Kennedy to be under the HWC. I hope this doesn’t create a problem between the HWC and the growing IWWC.

How in the hell would you know what Tom and Terry are ok with? You’re trying too hard

What in tar hooties are you talkin bout?

If you're looking for the shortest straw.... well fella, you pulled it.

There are two main variables going against Iowa to land Keck. His college coach and Askren. Both people he’ll listen to before anyone at Iowa.
I wish it wasn’t true, however those are the facts. I’ll be the first to say I was wrong if we get him into the HWC.
