Many Hawkeye basketball fans were wondering if Fran would ever recruit a one and done player. You all got want you wished for and next year will be nothing to look forward to like it would have been with Keegan returning for his Junior year, same old, same old.

The compensation of producing NBA players is a higher overall level of recruit. Kids will take notice of a team that generates an NBA future.

Watching all those draft picks go to guys who averaged like 9ppg and 5 rebounds made me sad inside. Keegan has the athleticism AND skill to easily be first round. I think he will be similar to Harrison Barnes when it’s all said and done, maybe even a better shooter at the NBA level.

My comparison was done last fall, so it’s dated but I’m not the only one who has said it - NBA scouts have said it recently per this article from 45 days ago or so.

There may be better comps now that he’s had another full season...your comps are just parroting what Keegan has used in his ESPN interview, so not original.

What’s crazy is that Keegan Murray in his own words said he sees himself as a Mikal Bridges or a John Collins at the next level. I actually think Grant Hill is a solid compare...drawing a blank on who Danny Granger is at the moment...

He has the smooth game similar to HB, and he's unflappable.

Played for the Pacers back in the late 00’s and early 2010’s. Injuries derailed his career but he was a top player in the league for a few years
