Does Keegan remind anyone else of A much better shooting Dennis Rodman. He seems to be in the area for every rebound and is always diving on the floor for a lose ball. He knows what his role is right now and goes all out while he is in the game. I love it! Great role player for us this year and I know that role will grow more and more every year. Keep it up Keegan.

I don't see rodman as he was defense and rebounding only. I do think he could be our 3rd or 4th most important player this year. Reminds me of a smaller version of Tim Duncan.

Rodman in his younger years was quite productive on the offensive end of the court, not just a rebounder. If you want to compare Keegan to Dennis at this stage of Keegan's career, they are probably pretty similar. Keegan has a nose for the basketball, he's quick, has instincts for rebounding that will serve him well and when he gains more confidence he has a great stroke and shoots free throws at a descent clip, most of my previous post was in jest, but there are similarities to their games for sure.

I was incredibly impressed by the late rebound where he was a foot above everyone else. Then watching a replay of one of my favorite games ever with my favorite player ever (his dad), made for a pretty good Friday night.

Rodman defending the paint and rebounding against guys with at least 40lbs and 4-6 inches on him was amazing to watch. If Keegan has similar game, i need to start watching a lot more iowa bb :)

It’s a pretty good comp, but I think Murray has more college BB offensive upside

Keegan is a truly pleasant surprise. He does have a nose for the ball on the offensive boards which is seemingly one of those traits a player either has or doesn't have. I never saw rodman in college, but Keegan has a ways to go to match the defensive prowess of the nba version of rodman. The guy is a complete nutcase, but he was an all time great defender in and around the paint.

I'm looking forward to seeing how he develops as so far his b-ball future looks very promising.

I really like him.

You can just tell right away he has the instincts that can't be quantified.

He gets his hands on so many unexpected balls. His most impressive play last night was blocking that lob pass attempt.

He was no where near the passer or intended recipient. Most guys don't read that let alone time it so well.

Seems to have a more than decent shot from deep too , although with the weapons from 3 we have I prefer him this year doing the dirty work, down low

He reminds me of Kenyon with a better shooting stroke. Outstanding court awareness, and hustle.

He reminds me of Ray Thompson. I think Ray was little more athletic but not a lot.
