Kenneth Chesebro, alleged architect of the “fake electors” plot, has struck a plea deal with prosecutors in Fulton County, Georgia

All well and good for him in Georgia. Catch is cheese helmet is also facing the same charges in 7 other states. So he just confessed his crime serving paper to the other states. Keep that soap on a string.

Don't try to confuse scruddy with facts or break his fantasy bubble source.

Dig up polls from 2010. The bulk of them had Obama desperately under water. Polls are meaningless at this stage when you do not have a set opponent, and real ramifications of a vote are not at stake. The best hope for Republicans is that someone like DeSantis or Haley keeps limping along and can be there when Trump has a grabber.
Ya agreed Lucas. I also like the idea that Trump agrees to not running for re-election(maybe in the federal cases that could be an option) to avoid jail time.

Biden is NOT losing to Trump in any legitimate poll, nor would he in an election.
While I agree that Trump won’t win against Biden but you are simply lying by saying no legitimate poll has him winning. Take of the Team Blue glasses and realize Biden is not a popular president and has historically low approval ratings at this point.

Biden is also doing terrible with independents. Any other generic Democrat would win by double digits. Biden is the only one Trump can beat and Trump is the only Republican that would lose to Biden. Shows how dumb both political parties are in nominating these awful candidates.

I don't know how that works legally. Smith can't make that deal. And, when has Trump ever admitted fault? He'd have to say he was wrong. He'd have to admit that Biden won in 2020. His ego won't take that, which is why we are where we are right now. I believe that if Trump wasn't around Biden wouldn't be running again.

Is @Sharky1203 unable to give us his legal analysis, or is he just using the Scruddy handle today?
It's hard to keep that many personalities straight, I assume.
I have a job. You know I have to use a certain set of skills and in return someone pays me money for those sets of skills. It's kinda a cool thing. You should try it sometime.

Sure. You were pretty active yesterday during business hours.

Who said I have set hours? Oh, I'm sorry you assumed that. That's right on this board we assume stuff, then repeat over and over so that way it makes it true.

For a new guy you sure do seem up on how things work here.
What’s your hot take on Cheese Bro flipping?

Everyone pleads to felonies. It's just common sense.
What I do is take the plea deal, then when it is time to provide information I speak gibberish and can’t remember a thing. Nothing they can do about it, already gave me the deal, state law. I start talking double jeopardy and they just let me go.

Wouldn’t the plea deal be contingent on providing information consistent with what they would have provided in an interview or deposition to the prosecution? Could perjury play into anything inconsistent with what got them the deal?

It's a razor's edge. There has to be some adversary conversation to trigger debate. Somehow, sometimes worthy things filter through. I actually left the Off Topic board at one point b/c I couldn't stand the nonsense. And that was before the internet conspiracy theory nutcases took over but in Limbaugh's heyday.
I learned recently that ignore can reduce the need or desire to respond to dip sticks.
They are not worthy of response, which results in trash being reread.
You will miss no worthy content if you are selective in using the ignore function.

My bad, should have included the sarcasm emoji. That was my takeaway from a “legal expert” in another thread.

I've seen that some posters don't ignore. Can you imagine what their board looks like. I'm not sure if the number of crazies has increased but the insanity certainly has. The Orange Turd's psychopathic presence and his cult's love affair has contaminated HROT despite poster's denial.

I saw Cheese Bro's lawyer on TV this morning. He said that he got at great deal, his client didn't really admit to much of anything, and that he didn't even think the prosecution would call him to testify in any future cases.

Is the goal to get as many of these co-defendants to plead guilty in order to provide an easier trial for the prosecutor? Not just more witnesses, but less defendants in the case being tried at once. I think Chesebro and the Kracken lady asked for separate speedy trials.

Throw the bastard in jail if he is found guilty.
im tired of the rich and elite avoiding any sort of repurcussion.

If he gets elected as president from a jail cell, America had a good run and we will get what we deserve

From Ciggy's story on Ellis, I think he admitted to a lot.

"As part of their plea deals, Hall, Powell and Chesebro each recorded a lengthy video answering prosecutors’ questions about their roles and the roles of others in the alleged election interference conspiracy."

That's 4 people who have plead guilty and taken the charges. It is VERY clear at this point that there is really no case to be made here by the state of Georgia. If the case was easy to make why would Georgia ever let them off the hook like this? It's really a nothing burger and will just disappear as they try and go further with this. Such weak cases that the defendants are avoiding jail time! What is going to be laughable is when they try to tie this to Rudi or even to Trump. There were MILLIONS of people who didn't believe the election results. No way they were in Trump's circle at all when it comes to election denial strategy or execution. Trump was NOT trying to steal the election through a concerted effort to disenfranchise or defraud the citizens of Georgia. If there was evidence of that it would be plain as day and Trump would already be in jail. If Trump had truly wanted to win the election he would have. Therefore, there's nothing here. These people were NOT on Trump's legal team anyways, he only hires the best people.

Why do they keep calling it an “alleged” conspiracy when they have pleaded guilty to it? 🤔
