I sort of find it interesting that ever since the college basketball scandal a couple of years ago where the FBI started getting involved, the perennial powers haven't been as successful. It's like they all got bad all at once. It's as if they're trying to say to the FBI, "see how bad we are? there's no need to investigate us!"

Gee, I wonder where that Kentucky fan is that always showed up here whenever the *ahem* integrity of Cal was questioned on here.
The one and done formula seems to be failing Kentucky, Duke and even NC to an extent. That makes me happy in the short run, but I wonder about the long term effects and if they start recruiting 4 year players.
Was this past year a year of no difference makers or are the elite 1 and done's going to G-league or Europe/overseas for pay. Is his year of Kentucky/Duke/MSU/North Carolina being down an aberration? I supposed hiring relatives of recruits to work at Duke university is being frowned upon and that is impacting recruiting and Adidas/Nike no longer funneling money and elites to Blue bloods?
I do think that many of these teams will get rolling once they keep playing together. COVID off season wasn't helpful for those young guys.
How frigging bad is the SEC this year? A (was, at least) struggling Kentucky is now 3-0 in conference play.
So bad that you, me, & 3 current Nebber players could finish in the top 3 of that league.
Same with Michigan in Football - i.e. the Rich Rod years were cherished/fond memories...
