I guess I've always thought he was a damn good coach because I think athletics at Vandy usually suck in general. And yes, a report with salary information came out when we hired Lick that we had actually offered the job to him and he turned it down.

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....didn't they just win a national title in baseball a few years back? And then make it back to the championship series the very next year?

Are there people that don't think wrestling is a sport? I agree that NASCAR isn't a sport, but wrestling most certainly is a sport. Maybe you put it in line with soccer and track & field where don't enjoy watching it, but if you don't think they're sports then there is no help for you.

Sheldon Jeter originally went to Vanderbilt, but tried to transfer and Stallings blocked his transfer. Ended up having to go to a JUCO before ending up at Pitt. Poor kid is now reunited with his old coach.

Frankly college baseball outside of warm weather states getting cut in many programs and becoming irrelevant on a broad basis.
