You seem to be confusing secret agent, with just being cultivated to be useful. Trump was comically deferential to Putin. That doesn’t represent skill. With other leaders he was aggressive, in particular nations and leaders opposed to Putin. Maybe it was the money channeled through condos. Maybe it was that Putin hugged Don like Fred never did. But, there was something terribly wrong with how Trump let Putin maneuver him.

I'm no Trump fan, but Mueller had an incredible amount of power to uncover things like this and failed to do so. If Trump was laundering Russian money, which I myself thought was the case prior to the Mueller report, then it would have come to light. The idea that Trump was just intimidated by and respected Putin seems more likely.

there were.
There were audits and recounts all over the place and they all added up.
