Predicting Minnesota to win the West is the same as predicting Indiana to win the East.
Wtf he try to punt a lawnmower?
You got it! It was also in reference to all of the people on this board that get their panties in a wad anytime an analyst doesn't say the Hawks are the greatest thing since sliced bread.
by far the best game with iowa last year was minny, they were great, loved that gameLast night on his "Herbies" preseason awards show on ESPN, KH said he is picking Minnesota to win the B1G West. Minney might be a surprise team this year and KH is entitled to his opinion but why would he pick the Gophers over us?
Iowa played a weak schedule and then they proved it when they got destroyed by Stanford and beaten by msu, put two good teams on the schedule there suddenly.... and they lose.we beat 10 win Wisconsin team at Camp Randall.... and we beat a 10 win Northwestern team in the Windy City....
anybody who says we played a weak schedule is a liar.
Why stop there? I think they should have gone 0-12. I'm sure we could find one statistic from every single game that proves Iowa should have lost.Iowa deserved to lose the huskers game with that 0-9 third down conversion rate.
I see nothing wrong with disagreeing with the supposed "experts" like Herbie. In this instance, I think the fans/ posters disagreements/reasons [for the most part] are correct. "Panties in a wad"?.......no, just good supportive fans. You don't have to agree with them, you can argue with them/give us your opinions.....let discussions ensue, but IMO, don't silence them.
well, I could but I only saw the minny game and the nebby game. Why stop there? I think they should have gone 0-12. I'm sure we could find one statistic from every single game that proves Iowa should have lost.
agreed, he seems to like the hawks.Exactly! Believe it or not you are actually agreeing with me. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but some people can't handle other people's opinion when it goes against the Hawks. I have no problem with people disagreeing with Herbstreit's opinion, but to suggest that he has something out for the Hawks is just ridiculous.
