Losing to a highly ranked guy in a weight class 25 pounds up from him is not a shock. He is not a small 195 so getting down to 190 probably wasn't great for him either. He finished better at Ironman jumping 2 classes than they did in the weights they wrestled. The coach Phil says he is a great kid and you can tell he is a really hard worker.Did he really lose wrestle-offs to both Correa & Darrah? Or is he just making that up
Just wondering if it is true. I understand it is in the realm of possibility just seems like something It's Pat would make up about a Hawk commit. I am sure if he was a PSU commit he would have been heroically moving up for the team and taking on the Goliath Feldman.Losing to a highly ranked guy in a weight class 25 pounds up from him is not a shock. he posted about it on here before it broke publicly. he definitely has a source.how would you know
Not really going to go into to bad but I posted it a while ago before anyone. Go back and re- read previous post. Not talking to you js8793 talking to wasdt21 I’m from the east coast not to far away which I stated before many times. Friends of the programs over here are close and talk to each other . If you really wanna know heard it from a friend of the program. Anyway. I love kolby and can’t wait to see what he can do after a year in the program. Him and Henson’s ceiling is only gonna grow upward. To me this program will bring out the best in both. Seminary will still be fine with the brothers coming back too!! And I pray Arnold comes to Iowa too!!he posted about it on here before it broke publicly. he definitely has a source.
he definitely lost to darrah. whether he also lost to correa is another question. corby implied that 190 is too small for him, but that’s only for ironman. if we see correa up at 195 after this I think that’s a good enough indication he can’t make 182 and beat franklin for the spot.
if that’s the case, good for kolby for making lemons into lemonade and getting a head start on his time in iowa. he’s been wrestling on college opens already. to me that says he loves to compete which is a really underrated quality in good recruits. just loving the sport goes a long way into the amount of work you put into it.
