As usual the rub in in what reason they are taking the kid.

If they are taking the kid because he hasn't been fed or is being abused. Perfectly legitimate. If they are taking the kid because he posted a meme mocking police response to school shootings, it certainly seems like someone with an agenda is out to punish people.

Sort of like being arrested. If you are arrested because you murdered someone, that's legitimate. If you are arrested because you said "The governor sucks" that's not legitimate..

Just so it's clear, the state can't just take kids for whatever reason they want because they feel like it. Each state has statutes that define when removal from the parents can be requested. Each state also has statutes that define when a child can be placed in detention. I have no doubt that the mother in this instance feels like her child has been stolen by the state but that perception ignores that an allegation has been made that a statute was violated such that the state taking custody of the child was necessary.

I have no idea about this woman or her past history so I have no idea if this is retaliation or not.

“Okay so it’s been like 3-4 weeks since I got on my new antidepressants and they aren’t working but they’re suppose to by now so I have no hope in getting better so why not kill the losers at school.”

The teenager told one of his friends that he planned to shoot up the school the Thursday before Spring Break but there were too many things going on so he postponed it until March 31.
The students reported the claims to the school prior to that date and the investigation was launched.

The teenager was homeschooled at the time of the alleged threats.

That lady is a nut, she goes on social media rants, gets people to believe stuff, and asks for money which she receives some, I would guess
She went on a social media rage about her son during the election about a photo of her son ( who you couldn't see his face) that got posted to a Gaetz Facebook page comparing crowd sizes.

She's the LW MAGA equivalent it seems. Doesn't change the fact how much of an unfit joke DeSantis is. Both can be true.

Is a national problem. Most Americans will read something like that, believe it immediately, then never read an actual piece of journalism that refutes it. Most Americans today live in fantasy worlds where almost every political “fact” in their head is fiction.

How can our country go on like this?

I actually like this topic. It can be a uniter between the far left and far right.

Momma has some issues she needs to address. So does child. When everyone is in a safe place, they can be reunited.

Not at all. I assume most of what I see on Twitter is either half of the truth or entirely bullshit.

Not to mention that she was proven to be full of shit the one other time she went to war on Twitter and it ended up on HORT.
