Ladies against the Wildcats

I always bet on the women's team. You make money in the long run, or i did last year. 20 per game but went a little crazy in the tournament with 100 per game. We definitely need to go big tonight with a very good 6'6" center. One gaurd just drives and the other just set shots. We should pull away and score easier as the game goes on vs the 5 player out defensive system

CW would agree with you but everyone would have said the same vs V-Tech.
Could someone with knowledge of the two describe the differences between Kitley and Lee?
I know that Lee scored 61 points or something in a game, but have no idea what cardboard cutout she did that against.....
Not super knowlegable, but from what I understand Kitley is a finess face up fade away shooter, Lee is more like Cinzano, Strong, physical, get position and use post moves to put up high efficiency shots.
Lee is the better player imo and most others. She was injured last year but is scoring and rebounding at a very high clip. She is an athletic 6'6" and has more flexibility than Kitley. Not as pronounced but kinda like Krikke and Rebraca. Lee is the best offensive player we've faced this year
No. She was out with an ACL. K State just hung around and pulled it out by 1. Iowa even had a chance to win but missed. Iowa's worst game last year and expect some payback
The line started at Iowa -17.5 with an O/U of 151.5. The line is down to 15 now.

Was Lee in the mix for Big 12 POY before her injury? Crazy that she could be so much better than Kitley, who was POY in the ACC (a superior conference).
If she’s like Czinano, does that mean she can be neutralized like Czinano was against more athletic players? If she’s that strong / physical, it may not rly matter that we don’t have Czinano, who was regularly chewed up and spit out vs the likes of Holmes, Edwards, Reese, etc. Our guard play for example helped us beat Louisville — a super athletic team who held Czinano to just two FG attempts — in the Elite 8.
One thing to note about her recovery, IIRC, is that she tore her ACL mid/early summer last year. I think well before Kylie / Bueckers etc. It’s not like she tore it in the fall and was just recently released.

Addie and Goodman need to force her off the block. They did pretty well against Kitley so i think they can at least slow her down
Cizano was undersized for a center, Lee is 3 inches taller, and I think is a better defender, and better rebounder I think. The Cinzano comp was about getting post position, no dribbles just straight up, and is automatic close up. TBH, from what little I've seen so she is one of the few centers that had she transfered into Iowa could have just been plugged righ in as a starter.
Early in the game, get the ball to Stuelke around the FT line and clear out. Let Stuelke use her speed on drives to the basket and maybe get a couple early fouls on Lee
I think thats the plan, but I'm worried about Stuelke defending without fouling.
