Last drive should’ve started from the 1/2 yard line

In regards to the OP, as others have pointed out that wasn't on the final drive. I do remember thinking at the time that happened, though, Wow, he just called fair catch.

Regardless, the game was epic, hard fought, and should be left at that. Iowa came up one play short to a legitimate Top 5 team. Nothing else needs to be said. The fact that so many idiot Nittany Lion fans are still here trolling clearly demonstrates the mindset and integrity (or lack thereof) of their fan base. Who cares. Ped State fans are a lot like Monday mornings---nobody likes them.

Seriously. Flush Ped State (hope they lose the rest of their games but otherwise yawn). On to Michigan State.

Spielen mit ihre solf while you lie?

I would also say that if I were a PSU fan, I'd be very concerned about S. Barkley returning kickoffs. The dude gets so many touches and is pounded so many times, why would you want to subject him to the possibility of injury? The kid reminds me of Jim Brown (I know that really dates me, but I can't think of a modern era player who combines speed and power like this kid does).
He actually is returning kicks this year in anticipation of him not getting enough touches. Last year so many teams stacked the box he didn't get as many touches as the staff wants to get him. Which is also why they are working on getting him more involved in the passing game. Saturday was by far the most PSU has relied on Barkley since he got on campus. Iowa was also the only team that made an effort to take everyone else out of the game and let Barkley get his yards. I would be surprised if he has another game with as many touches as he had on Saturday.

Yep I was wrong however IIRC midway through the fourth this was the blocked FG possession. Really could’ve changed the outcome. Could’ve had great field position and had our own long ground and pound drive. Not likely but who knows. Blown call either way.

Summary of PSU:

When a mother calls the University to report inappropriate behavior........nobody knows nothing.

When a GA tells JoePa himself about an occurrence that Joel's himself described as something of a sexual nature........nobody knows nothing.

When the Janitor makes report to Supervisor.......nobody knows nothing.

But, now all of a sudden they are know it all's and nobody else knows nothing.

Yeah, whatever dipsharts. Keep hiding behind that not everything can be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt in a court of law if that makes you feel better.

Guess what enablers, Hillary Clinton isn't innocent either, but money and power goes a long ways in the courts these days don't it.

Anyone with a brain knows that crapstorm at PSU doesn't pass the smell test. The stories don't hold water. But, if you can convince yourselves that a GA insisted on seeing JoePa and then JoePa let him leave without getting the complete story, then you are a blind idiot.

You really think Joe went about his normal business the rest of the weekend. You don't think there were discussions about how to proceed? You are beyond hope, then.

You want facts? Here's a fact. If Penn State reported Sandusky when they should have, Penn State never gets the invite to the Big Ten. Penn State never gets an invite to any conference. They don't get the sweet NBC money like Notre Dame. No, they don't get jack squat. Hundreds s of millions of dollars do not flow through State College. Penn State's football program is looking up at Navy. Their entire athletic department is a mere shadow of what it is today.
Every single athlete at Penn State today benefits from the cover up of child molestation. Fact.

The fair catch is a reach, but the reversal of the INT was pretty clear. Ball hit the ground, good view of it from reverse angle in super slow mo. I think PSU shot itself in foot with some cutsie play calling in red zone instead of giving the rock to the guy that had 300+ total yards.
How is it a reach? Why did he throw his hand in the air?
