Regardless, the game was epic, hard fought, and should be left at that. Iowa came up one play short to a legitimate Top 5 team. Nothing else needs to be said. He actually is returning kicks this year in anticipation of him not getting enough touches. Last year so many teams stacked the box he didn't get as many touches as the staff wants to get him. Which is also why they are working on getting him more involved in the passing game. Saturday was by far the most PSU has relied on Barkley since he got on campus. Iowa was also the only team that made an effort to take everyone else out of the game and let Barkley get his yards. I would be surprised if he has another game with as many touches as he had on Saturday.

Yep I was wrong however IIRC midway through the fourth this was the blocked FG possession. Really could’ve changed the outcome. Could’ve had great field position and had our own long ground and pound drive. Not likely but who knows. Blown call either way.
