Last/next concert?

It's been a long time since my last one. Jason Isbell maybe? It was one of his first shows after the pandemic and you could just tell how cathartic it was for him and Amanda to to play in front of people again

Next will be Ben Folds in August

Updated from earlier in the thread after the schedule drop.

Last was Umphrey's McGee at Roanoke Island Festival Park.

Next will probably be CVC on Thursday of Bonnaroo next week. I'm really looking forward to My Morning Jacket, The Pixies, The Revivialists, Fleet Foxes, Tyler Childers and seeing the Foo Fighters for the first time since Carver in '00.

We have tickets for The Avett Brothers in CR and Deer Tick at Codfish Hallow the week after we get back from the farm.

Last was Journey and Def Leppard in 2006 in Tampa.

Don't really like doing crowds any more, so I'm pretty much done with concerts. Only one I'd go to if he came to my area would be Tommy Emmanuel.

Last: Smashing Pumpkins/Janes Addiction Minneapolis
Next: Beck at Red Rocks in August. First time going to Red Rocks, seen Beck a couple times.

Who did you see at the last concert you attended?

Who are you planning on seeing for your next concert?

Last concert-Deftones

Next concert-Jerry Cantrell

Last concerts were several cruise ship performances aboard the Wonder of the Seas so I got to see several jazz bands, a rock band made up entirely of Malaysians or Indonesians, some excellent ska and Junkanoo music, a Prince reenactor, and several good guitarists and piano players throughout the week.

The last concert I went to specifically to attend was about a month ago at SeaWorld to see Scott Stapp former lead singer of Creed. Before that it was the band Live who has the Throwing Copper album we saw at Busch Gardens. The last time I paid money specifically for a ticket was in March at the Florida Strawberry Festival to see Train.

Next up will likely be either the Bacon Brothers (ie Kevin Bacon’s band) or Joey Fatone and friends at Epcot unless something else of interest shows up before then. And I’m not counting little local bands at festivals or local bars because I see those all the time.

I think the last one I saw was Brand New. After that Jesse Lacey got busted out for grooming teens. Good show, too bad the singer is a terrible person.

I saw The Lumineers in Vegas at a convention. No idea who I'll see next? Not a real big concert guy anymore

The show in CR is with Government Mule, correct?

Last show was last night in Madison at High Noon Saloon. Mike Love and the Full Circle, especially at a small venue like that, was simply amazing.

I believe my last concert was Hank Williams Jr, and my next is going to Willie Nelson. Looking forward to it!

Have you given the 2004 live album a listen yet? Jim sounds incredible.

Yeah. I got tickets before Mule was added. That was a big win, I'll watch Warren play anytime I can.

Mine is supposed to arrive tomorrow but I cheated and listened to it on Spotify this morning lol.

I'll check out that episode!
It's short but cool.

He talks about their history with Bonnaroo and how he feels about how festivals have changes. Also touches on his struggles with mental health. It was endearing.

Just got tickets to see Hamilton in Dallas in May.

Looking at tickets for Dallas Symphony Orchestra performing Chopin and Shostakovich in March. It's not the Kennedy Center or the Lincoln Center, but it's supporting local arts.

Last:
Dropkick Murphys in CR last october

Next: Dropkick Murphys in East Moline at end of this month.

Potentially on deck:
Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls in Detroit when i am in Michigan later this spring.

I'm jelly if you end up going. Would love to see Frank Turner
Ive seen him 4 times. Last time in Minneapolis last year

First time was at codfish hollow in Maquoketa, i believe in 2016. That show, in that venue turned me from a casual fan into a huge fan.

Last: Billy Joel/Stevie Nicks
Next: Shaky Knees Music Festival in Atlanta

Lots of bands I haven't seen yet: Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Arcade Fire, Interpol, etc. plus Weezer (that I've seen three times).
