I think he spent last season as the HC at UW Milwaukee. I believe he got the job there over TJ Otz-whatever from ISU. What a domino effect based on OSU's late firing of Matta.

When you bring recruits in for a visit and the Head Coach will barely speak to them it makes it pretty tough.

Jordon very well might have been the one to convince Lickliter to offer Marble. However, if Lickliter had just done the opposite of what he actually thought was a good idea, then he would have been right most of the time. Marble fell into his lap because Iowa legacy + MSU and Michigan did not offer, so we were a little bit lucky.
