Iowa City was, once again, just named one of the Top Twenty college towns in America. And besides, I've been to West Lafayette and State College, so I actually know how to compare the three, and it's pretty clear why neither WL or SC made that list. With your approach to reality, you should make a great president some day, but leave important stuff like college football recruiting to the adults, please.

West Lafayette is an absolute dump, and yes, I have been there several times for Iowa/Purdue games, so STFU with your bullshit info.

If there is any truth to the OP's claims (dubious, but possible), he could be mistaken about what's actually being thought of as "boring." Iowa City is hands down more fun and exciting than either State College (smallish mountain town) and West Lafayette (known by some as the "East Berlin of the BIG"). However, Bell MIGHT have that opinion of Iowa's offense (I'm not saying Iowa's pro-style offense is boring but naysayers might if comparing it with the loosey goosey pass-happy offenses favored by some schools).
Iowa City is pretty much the opposite of boring. So much so that 24 hours there results in physical impairment to my body.
West Lafayette on the other hand is a hole, as is much of the N and NW portions of the state. Purdue and NW can fight it out for worst stadium in the B1G. Both are bottom of the barrel.
