Condense down the process, play the championship before the nfl playoffs start and get it on a Saturday. Saturdays are for college fball so make it an all day big event with a big build up. It’s a forgotten game at this point this year.
Did very little digging, 2023 and 2022 was on ESPN. I see a trend. 2024 list ESPN and ABC, kind of odd.
College football should have ended 2 weeks ago. Nobody cares right now

Way too drawn out, they need to find a way to finish the CFB season as close to New Years Day as possible.
Like most sports, the season has dragged on too long. The national title game should be played on Jan. 1. Adjust everything else accordingly. IMHO, of course.

After spending two weekends watching some really good NFL football the college game is not top of mind. Forgot it was on until I saw this

There isn't much of a buzz around ESPN like usual ........ no SEC team to pimp.
Two storied programs, doesn’t have to be Bama or GA, excited to watch championship college football. We will miss it next week. Not the same as the NFL.
