LeBron

But why am I or anyone else supposed to care? Is it because Michael Jordan is black that he should be endorsing the Democrat?
Nobody has to care. Celebrities and Athletes are given a big platform. Picking a side can harm their image and their pocketbooks.

Not sure your point on Jordan, but it’s clear Jordan has used his image to make the most money he can. Nothing wrong with that, but he could have spoken up on social issues in the past and made an impact but he never really did.

I think if Jordan had lebrons body he would have driven to the rim every single possession in big games and scored or be fouled.

Well this is a pretty silly thing to include in an argument. That's like me saying LeBron is the goat because I think he would have averaged 50 points per game if he played in the 80s and 90s.

I'd argue that the fact his finals record isn't as good has more to do with the fact that he's been the betting underdog in 7/10 finals than him passing to an open teammate or taking the occasional jumper.

Yeah, no. Jordan was a cold blooder killer who won, ALWAYS, when he had to in his prime. To the detriment of his character. He willed it to happen at any other cost. LeBron has none of that in him. And it's why he's been crushed in how many NBA Finals?
I used to think like this but watching Lebron the last couple years has made me a fan. At year 20, he can still dominate. That’s GOAT material. Better than Jordan? It’s hard to say. They are very different players playing in different times. Both are the best to play in my lifetime, imo.

To the OP:

Why is Michael Jordan or any other famous person obligated to endorse a political candidate? The choice between Kamala and Trump is night and day. If people haven’t figured out by now how much of a garbage president Trump has already been and will be, there’s nothing Michael Jordan or anyone else can say that will be helpful.

Maybe it's more about persuading someone to actually vote rather than which one to vote for.

It’s my opinion and Lebron settled for jumpers when the moment called for physical domination.

Doesn’t really matter, in 20 years somebody else will be considered the GOAT. People are going to gravitate towards players they actually saw play.

MJ is a jerk (though most people weren’t aware of it during his playing days) but a smart jerk. He had a certain image and was careful not to jeopardize it.

You mean "ALWAYS won once Scottie Pippen joined the team"

Lebron isn’t even 2nd. Kobe 2 then lebron is in the conversation for 3rd. In today’s league Jordan would average 45. NBA players say as much. No one besides “king James” thinks he’s the goat. Just watch and compare. It’s really not even close.

This. I would always say Jordan by a mile probably more out of nostalgia than anything. Jordan, in the playoffs, was must watch tv when I was a kid. Just loved watching him play. Especially when BJ was on the team. I admittedly did not watch a lot of NBA during Lebron prime but have been tuning in more the last several year’s because of the nuggets. I have been thoroughly impressed with what Lebron can do at his age. He was great in the Olympics.

Let’s not forget about good ol Kobe. He seems to get left out of this conversation. Kobe was a bad mofo.

That person might already be in the league. Anthony Edward’s has the potential. That guy is a baller.

In the Finals. Yes, with Pippin. No player wins titles by himself. No player ever has and no player ever will.
But you dont' extend that to Lebron.
Jordan needed the right supporting cast but if Lebron loses that's because he isn't as tough.

I’ve always hated the guy. Jordan is better on the court and it’s not even close.

But LeBron kicks Jordan’s ass off the court. Jordan too busy selling Jordan’s to “both sides.”

King James doesn't let a little despotism mess with his dollah-dollah bills, yo!

One thing I'll say about LeBron though, is that he's probably a much better person than Jordan was/is.

I'm sure Northern or Doobi or Biggrey or some other MAGA moron will be along shortly to tell you that LeBron should just shut up and dribble but you are of course 100% correct in your statement.
Link to me ever saying anything remotely like that?
