I would think if they signed a waiver, why not? They wrestle at the senior level all the time.
That is what I would assume too. It really doesn't have anything to do with the college team so I wouldn't think it could be any sort of recruiting violation (if that even exists anymore with NIL!).
Yes, I'm sure their teammates (and coaches) would appreciate them flying to Iowa to wrestle in an exhibition the night before their qualifying tournament for states (Jax and Bo). What could possibly go wrong? I mean it's not like McCort is setting up for an epic battle with FCA to be the #1 team in the country the next week or anything, right?
This looks to me like mostly a senior level showcase event. Guessing they aren’t going to pull a bunch of out of shape guys out of retirement to wrestle next month but what do I know? Also it’s right at the end of the HS season for some guys.

I can't imagine anybody going to this event would complain about adding plenty of matches to the undercard, even if they aren't premier guys.

So many possibilities for matchups, Im fairly certain Joseph does not want any of the Bulls smoke at this point but there are so many guys on the senior level still active to throw into this.

I'm sure the PSU and Iowa athletic directors would love having their head and assistant head coaches training for a wrestling match against each other right before B10's when they should be getting their college teams ready for B10's and NCAAs.

I agree with you on the purpose...I was just making a general comment that if an event is happening, the people going aren't going to mind if it's a 2 hour event instead of a 1 hour event, and that the demand for watching former hawks- however low it may be- still probably outpaces the supply.
