Thread is currently #4 All Time in 'views', closing in on #3 in probably a day or two.
Then it will only be trailing the 2015 and 2016 Cubs threads for 'most views'....

Pretty good chance it will make to #2; if Trump remains in office for a full 4 years, it could displace the 2016 Cubs thread....but a LOOOONG way to go for that.

I am fully willing to help. I am operating at a disadvantage today because of my self-imposed moratorium on pointing out liberal moronity during Mothers Day weekend, but I will be able to participate fully after midnight.

Thinking of setting the alarm so I can get up and get back into the flow.

This is a safe place for overzealous Trump haters...you're welcome to join, but please don't disturb the peace :)

SOME are overzealous Trump-haters.

Some are laughing at or with overzealous Trump-haters.
But it seems that no one wants to defend any of Trump's schtick. (Apparently, they see how well that's working out for Sean Spicer)

While most are assuming this 'settlement' is due to pressure from the Trump admin, I wonder if NSA and CIA/FBI stepped in and pressured to shut down any public dissemination of key info that may impact other ongoing investigations.....

May also be totally unrelated.

Dang....thread made #3 all-time within the day! Next up: Cubs 2015 thread. Any indictments against Trump campaigners practically guarantees #2 by the end of May.

A Trump impeachment is likely needed to get this thing past the 2016 Cubs thread, though. That one is pretty impressive.

There sure are a lot of tweets expecting Traitor Boy to be indicted/impeached/removed from office. I expect this at some point but it seems like wishful thinking at this point. Things don't move this quickly, in most cases.

I think that's a fair take. The counterintelligence investigation has been going on for 10 months now, and there would seemingly need to be a number of additional steps to get this all lined up if something is there. I'm not sure how close we are, now that terms like grand jury and subpoena are being thrown around and corroborated, but it doesn't seem imminent just yet.

To add a tweet (actually several, if you see his follow-ups), this is an interesting thread along the same lines. He indicates that the intelligence community has essentially done their job based on how the narrative has shifted in recent weeks:

The typical American has watched far too many episodes of "24" and "CSI: (insert city here)" to have any realistic understanding as to how long and drawn out real life investigations and prosecutions actually are....

They take between 1 and 24 hours. Occasionally 48 hours if you get another jurisdiction, but similar crime fighting unit, involved.

My self-imposed weekend of toleration is blessedly finished. Do your worst, lefty morons.
