Not based on what I saw this year.Seems like he might want to play TE if he is transferring, and that is one spot Iowa is good at.
Cool Story, remind me how that Colorado offensive line showed up during that bowl game? Not based on what I saw this year.
Those 3 returning TEs combined for just 26 catches. Not exactly word beaters that would intimidate a solid TE prospect from transferring in. I hope the Hawks reach out.Ortwerth/Ostrenga/Hoffman are your top 3 TE's plus incoming Meyer and another I can't think of so at least 5 there. Great size though, Dad was only about 6'1, no? Wow was he fun to watch..
Ostrenga has 47 receptions alone, what are you talking about. Those 3 returning TEs have a combined 26 catches going into next year. Not exactly word beaters that would intimidate a solid TE prospect from transferring in. I hope the Hawks reach out.
He doesn't know, he never does.Ostrenga has 47 receptions alone, what are you talking about.
it's so ****ing tough to not feed the trolls. He doesn't know, he never does.
Well we weren't this year.Seems like he might want to play TE if he is transferring, and that is one spot Iowa is good at.
I feel like I've read this somewhere else. Wonder whereWell we weren't this year.
Not sure I would place the blame at the feet of the TE's for that.Well we weren't this year.
Good
That shithead has been anti-TE all year. Our guys are great, and are only going to get better. But he continues to spout his nonsense about them. A really weird agenda to have.Ostrenga has 47 receptions alone, what are you talking about.
D line under KF is about staying in your lane/gap. I feel like Hayden's D line was more free to get into the backfield.his dad was an absolute beast. Kind of miss Haydens 5-2 which was really a 3-4. Those DEs could really get after the QB in that position.
If shit heads enjoy sub par play like 2 tiny D, watch Iowa football where each TE averaged 1 catch per game despite playing in an offense with no division one wide receivers.. 👏🏼. Pretty impressive if Iowa was a MAC school. Not so much for TEU. But we all have different standards. That shithead has been anti-TE all year. Our guys are great, and are only going to get better. Keep squeezing. Ostrenga had a massive 15 receptions this year, not "47." In fact, nowhere close. But you call him a world beater. I wonder what the NIL value of a tight end who catches one ball per game is?I feel like I've read this somewhere else. Wonder where
Impressive you double down when you keep being proven wrong. Did you know we got a new OC who steered away from using our TEs? Perhaps that's why their numbers aren't as impressive as previous years where they were our only weapons? At least your posts make us laugh, little slaw!If shit heads enjoy sub par play like 2 tiny D, watch Iowa football where each TE averaged less than 1 catch per game. 👏🏼. Your dumbass said:Keep squeezing. Ostrenga had a massive 15 receptions this year, not "47."
Career is not 15 ya dolt, it is in fact 47. I know reading comprehension is difficult from whatever single wide Nebraska school you went to, but you can do better. I BELIEVE IN YOUThose 3 returning TEs combined for just 26 catches. Not exactly word beaters that would intimidate a solid TE prospect from transferring in. I hope the Hawks reach out.
Mike Burt is the fifth te.Ortwerth/Ostrenga/Hoffman are your top 3 TE's plus incoming Meyer and another I can't think of so at least 5 there. Great size though, Dad was only about 6'1, no? Wow was he fun to watch..
According to the writers who cover the team, Burt is ahead of Hoffman at this point. Apparently the staff really loves Burt’s potential.Mike Burt is the fifth te.
I wasn’t implying that Burt was fifth in roster position just that he was the fifth mentioned in BigOHawk’s postAccording to the writers who cover the team, Burt is ahead of Hoffman at this point. Apparently the staff really loves Burt’s potential.

What part of him saying “…had a massive 15 receptions this year” was ambiguous to you?Your dumbass said:

Because the quoted comment was not just this year, it is that simple. Those returning starters have more catches. Last year was an anomaly. What part of him saying “…had a massive 15 receptions this year” was ambiguous to you?
You do realize you can look this shit up, right?
Law is correct. Of the three TEs mentioned, they did in fact amass a total of 26 catches in 2024. If he had said career totals, I could understand your point.
As it is, since you went as far as to call him a dumbass and brought into question his reading comprehension, perhaps it would behoove you to either pull your head out of your own ass before posting or find a mirror first and decide against posting. The latter would be preferable, but you do you.
In terms of the actual OP, if this kid has talent and wants to be here, you bring him in and give him a chance to compete. Iowa needs all the talent they can get on offense, and since the TE with the most receptions in 2024 (Luke Lachey at 28) is graduating, I would say Iowa should be open to greater competition at a position they place so much emphasis on in the passing game. I mean, all TEs in 2024 combined for a whopping 1 TD for the entire season, so I think it’s not going too far out on a limb to suggest more competition wouldn’t hurt.
just adding to the idiocracy of your own comment. Why would the hawks suddenly recruit over Meyer, Burt, and Hoffman to bring in a kid that had to change positions at Nebraska…logic is simply missing, but the ability to follow a thread is as well. What part of him saying “…had a massive 15 receptions this year” was ambiguous to you?
