Let the process play out

This process reminds me of the Lester hire. First is was the ex Wiscy coach, then the Wake Forest OC, nope. The media throws out names and everybody takes it as gospel. I've posted before that I feel Beth is a sharp cookie and I truly believe she had a pretty good idea who she was going after long before Fran was terminated. As the tourney plays out we'll know soon enough. I always doubted Beth would piss away $4.6 M on somebody's buyout. A lot of fish in the sea to go after.

I think Beth has this process well in hand. I would be very surprised if she hadn't laid the ground work for Fran's replacement long before he was terminated. She strikes me as an intellegent administrator and leader.

You seldom see an executive level position filled over night. Let the process play out so we get a qualified head coach who will excite the fan base and embrace today's changes in college athletics.

Better her than Barta with his arrogant approach. We would be waiting another 2 weeks and down to the NW coach, or worse, the Bradley coach.

Exactly. It's because of Barta that buyout is so extreme.

If spending more than Indiana on basketball is a requirement to be a good AD then Iowa has never had a good AD
