And 4 is the number of chances little debbie had to win 1 game to go to a bowl but they CHOKED those chances away with 4 straight L's.

Give Matty an extension the West wants him back!

Nebber 2024 B1G Schedule:

Illinois
@ Purdue
Rutgers
@ Indiana
@ OSU
UCLA
@ USC
Wisconsin
@ Iowa

Do you see 3 wins there? I sure as hell don’t. But mark my word, somehow, someway, Rhule and GBR are gonna win exactly 3. You can take that to the bank.

Those first four games are all winnable, not that it will happen.

By Iowa, sure. I was referring to Nebber.

But you’re right, if they’re going to continue their long streak of 3-win seasons, it’s gonna need to come from those four games. I just can’t see which ones.

They have a pretty light schedule the first half next year so the hype will be strong, but their final 5 games or so gonna need some luck.

After today's 27-20 loss to UCLA, Little Debbie (5-4) has now lost 4 or more games in a season 21 YEARS in a row.

It has not been a fun stretch for the Husker faithful for sure. But what are ya' gonna do? I'm not going to not root for them. I am, however dressed like this right now, and will be dressed this way for the remainder of the season:

Didn’t see that happening today. Tough stretch to finish the season @ USC, Wisconsin, and @ Iowa. Your Huskers invent ways to lose. PTSD has gotta be real for the faithful.

IOWA IS STILL HAS NO CHAMPIONSHIPS. 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣

1956. Shared with Georgia Tech.

But who cares? That was decades ago. Doesn't mean shit now.

You Nebraska cry babies can't face the fact your long past your Blue blood era. When the NCAA unlimited scholarship policy ended and the recruiting for your shitty campus, the well went dry.

I loved reading on this board how the Cornholers were going to waltz in and take over the Big Ten. How consecutive many losses to rated teams is it now? 26 or 27....

Tell us how you important your past NCs are.

Remember hearing after the Colorado game their fans were ready to give the Heisman to Raiola and a lot of playoff talk. Now their golden boy qb is hurt after having 5 tds 7int in conf play ( 1-6 in last 4) and now they could miss out on a bowl game again. What a difference 4-5 weeks make.

Yeah man we just don't want to close the deal. We're 3 plays away from being 8-1 right now. Same as it always is.

Yeah, going back almost 70 years is kinda tough to stick one's chest out ;)

At the same time, I think you might be off a couple years. ;) A quick Google search found this: The Hawkeyes' lone claim to a national championship came after winning the Rose Bowl following the 1958 season, when they were awarded the Grantland Rice trophy by the Football Writers Association of America.
