Williams makes his line look worse than it is by hanging onto the ball for a 1/2. He is in NFL not PAC12
Eberflus should have called a timeout. Williams also could have called a timeout. Williams also could have snapped the ball sooner instead of letting an extra 6 seconds run off the clock after they were lined up. Those 6 seconds meant the difference between the game ending versus having time for another play.
I dont think Williams is great by any means, but he has shown that he can make plays. Regardless, the Bears need a better line no matter who they have as a QB.
Thinking optimistically, this could be a seven win team with a rookie qb if the coach did not suck (and that’s who I generally put end of game losses on)
He misses on the long ball a lot. Maybe he get’s that figured out. Love had the same problem first half of last year. He figured it out.
The casuals just watch Monday Nights and Thanksgiving. But even MNF is watered down with multiple games. I used to go to nearly every Thanksgiving game at the Silverdome in the ‘90s. I didn’t watch Iowa either last weekend, and I’m a Hawk fan. Sue me.
He’s a rookie. What part of his game do you question? Elite arm talent, mobile, has improved, only 23. Do you not think he has the ability to be elite?
