Former College Football Star Warns Recruits About Going To Miami Following Loss

On Thursday, the Miami Hurricanes were handed a loss in the Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl against Rutgers in a game that was played at Yankee Stadium, marking their fourth loss in their last five games.

While the scoreboard showed it was a seven-point game ending with a final of 31-24, it wasn't nearly as close. The Scarlet Knights controlled the majority of the game, which led to Miami catching a lot of heat on social media. One of the people who came after them was former Ohio State star quarterback Cardale Jones.

The quarterback who stepped in after injuries sidelined the quarterbacks ahead of him and led the Buckeyes to a title, took to Twitter to warn recruits about going to Miami for just about every reason possible.

"Man, I feel bad for the recruits going to Miami U for NIL…….. bad staff, no stability within program and one of the worst college home game atmospheres. Chasing the money isn’t always the answer. But good luck," wrote Jones.

The Hurricanes signed the No. 4 class in the country headlined by five-star Justin Scott. Something Jones would clearly advise against, as he feels the program led by Mario Cristobal is not at all headed in the right direction.

WOW! We should be putting this quote on billboards in Coral Gables, LOL...
