There is an old conventional saying in the coaching circles that you don't want to go into the tournament undefeated.

Yup, Losing on the road is the norm, Not the exception in the Big, While it's nice to be the exception, It's simply not going to happen on a consistent basis.

No. Didn't think Iowa would either.

Maryland is too good to not play well at their place yet win. That simple.

Kind of an ugly game, disappointing loss, but Iowa will survive.

I think before the season started we all would have signed up for a 7-1 start to conference play in a second. Gotta make sure one loss doesn't turn into two though. Get over this game, come out strong against NW and we're in great shape for the second half of the B10 season and still the favorite to win the conference.
