Looks Like Ahmed Mohamed Fooled Lots of People

Not just my school did this, others as well - I used mine as an example (god forbid an example be used).

Canvasing my colleagues the POA is no longer allowed to be said in their public schools either. When did America start hating itself?

Outside on school grounds is still school grounds (whether it be the football field, softball field, soccer field or the commons area).

Did you miss this from my post? Hell, most schools still do pray before games. Do you think that wins your point?

Hating itself? Maybe when they added "under god" during the red scare? Are you pretending it was a founding document necessary to the survival of this nation? Absurd.

You really aren't even making an argument, other than to try to claim that I'm wrong, with nothing to support it.

Is your position that Christians are stopped from privately praying/worshipping in public school?

At its worst, this young man simply exploited people's naiveté to get money for himself and to gain notoriety. Perhaps a little deception and dishonesty as well, although certainly not technically illegal. Again at worst, simply lacking some morality.

Sounds like a budding capitalist to me.

Oh look, another thread where fred is attacking people who don't agree with his belief.
Interesting, there are 2 people on my ignore list that I did not put there (at least don't recall putting anyone on ignore). Huey would be one I could see doing that to, but I don't - so i removed the 2 that were on the list.

Fred's just an angry person who uses this place as a source to vent his personal frustrations. I wouldn't take what he says personally.. he's as harmless as a kitten.

So you complain about a complete jump to conclusions and speculation of the people supporting the kid

....while jumping to conclusions and complete speculation the other way?

Got to love HROT.
I am not jumping to conclusions, I am looking at the evidence in front me. The POTUS did make a statement supporting the kid and have many on the left. It's also true the left is supporting this lie about Islamophobia. It's clear the left incorrectly thinks they have a case of it here

Ha - I don't take much here\if any personally, nothing on here is life threatening. There are good points and bad points, I like hearing other's views and beliefs as it is interesting how some are staunch, some are understanding and a few just seem to be water off a ducks back and fewer a cornucopia of all and then some.

I dont consider all relgions to be the same as witchcraft, just satanism and islam, maybe a few others, i consiider communism to be one of these as well

As someone who has witnessed many FCA "pray around the flagpole" events and even announcements to do so at the local high school, I can report that this post was impressively dumb.
Good to know - haven't seen any around the schools here.

Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Wiccans and most every religion all think magic words have power, they can think favors from magic spirits into reality and the universe if full of good and evil supernatural creatures. Sort of ironically, the main American satanic church doesn't actually hold these magical views about the nature of the world. It blew my mind too.

So you hate the Constitution. Big deal.

You realize that the objection to the POA has nothing to do with love of country...right?
Outside on school grounds is still school grounds (whether it be the football field, softball field, soccer field or the commons area).

The flag gathering is completely voluntary and takes place outside of school hours. Any other group that wishes to gather around the flag pole can do so. Football players are a captive group representing the school...a non-Christian player might feel coerced into participating. That you don't care about that means you can't complain when the majority of the team is Muslim and ends the game praying toward Mecca.

Don't hate the constitution - defended it.

How does not allowing the PoA show love of country?

Before, during or after hours is still "school grounds". Had an atheist on our team - didn't bother him one bit. I know - another isolated example that you won't accept.

My beef is saying "you can't pray" and then allowing it. Either do or don't - the exception should not be the rule.

Given that definition, Capitalism has to be the worst religion of all, which preaches the rich screwing everyone else! Kind of makes them the anti-christ in their beliefs versus what Jesus would want, doesn't it?

Absolutely football players are coerced into participating.

I think more people are SLAVES under capitalism than under socialism. And by the way communism is NOT the same as socialism, especially democratic socialism as it is practiced in northern European nations where people have a voice in how their government is governed, versus a 1%er style government like Joseph Stalin's in the Soviet Union, who helped Fred Koch build the Koch families empire and basically helped Stalin's money in effect fund most of the Republicans and the DLC Democrats of today. They are in effect more financially aligned with Joseph Stalin's communism than Bernie Sanders is! If you think democratic socialism is "slavery" please explain the details of who are "slaves" in that system rather than just using "socialism" as a Rush Limbaugh style epithet that is just in effect a name-calling exercise.

So, Jesus doesn't seem to like capitalism here much. Are you saying he's against freedom then?

No...you didn't...seriously.
How does not allowing the PoA show love of country?
Take out the awkward "...under God..." that was shoehorned into the original pledge in the '50's and the majority of opposition would fade away.

You have no idea whether he was bothered or not. All you know is what he told you. How do you know there weren't others who participated but didn't want to speak out? You don't.
My beef is saying "you can't pray" and then allowing it. Either do or don't - the exception should not be the rule.

Why would that bother you? Nobody has told anyone "You can't pray at any time, anywhere". This is a strawman.

Not so out of touch I guess...

There will be no more post-game praying for this Michigan high school football team.

After receiving a letter of complaint from the American Civil Liberties Union, Lahser High School has banned football players from engaging in prayer on the field. The team had previously made a ritual of kneeling in prayer after big games, according to local outlet WDIV-TV.

A Colorado high school banned a group of students from praying, singing Christian songs, and discussing religious topics in their free time.

Citing “separation of church and state,” officials at Pine Creek High School told Chase Windebank, a senior, that he and his classmates no longer were allowed to use an unoccupied choir room for religious purposes.

Nobody can stop anyone from praying during school, during a sporting event at a school field or any of the rest. What I can't do is lead a school-sponsored, organized prayer unless I make accommodations to be all-inclusive. If my kid wants to say a prayer at the start of each class, he can do so, he'll just have to do it on his own and most likely do it quietly.

That is not fraud. What aspect are you claiming were fraudent? That their son did it as a school project, and not at their command?

Just because you throw out words like intentional and deception doesn't strengthen your earlier claim.

Good to see you take your cues from good ol Napolitano.

It's the dictionary definition of fraud. I know you are very intellectually dishonest, but this is even low ball for you.

For the record, it was being discussed on CNN.

since Obama wakes up and just begins fraud with his first breath every day, liberals have trouble saying it's a bad thing when one of his minions does fraudulent things

Except, no, it is not. Post your basis for this criminal fraud in Texas. Let's discuss.

well, Obama sent in the cia trained goons with guns from fast and furious to a mohammed drawing contest, then Obama sends in a kid who has a daddy who is a muslim activist, into a government run school, with a clock which looks like a bomb, to play the race card. to see if the kid can get some fake racism thrown his way. that sort of sounds like fraud, but who knows.

Well another 14 year old white kid built a nuclear reactor in his garage for a science fair, and got Homeland Security interested in helping him, not authorities arresting him and locking him away for just messing around with a clock. Had this kid with a nuclear reactor been a Muslim, my bet is that they would have shot him and asked questions later.

White kid builds nuclear reactor and Homeland Security offers help

you're missing a key point.
He entered it in a science fair. He didn't build it then just carry it into school with no one's knowledge of what it was, or what his intent was.
