Looks like this one fixed

Really good question. Just shocked at how unprepared the Chiefs looked, especially having 2 weeks to prepare. Andy has been unbelievable normally over that time. The Chiefs spent the last 4-6 weeks getting the ball out quickly knowing the o line wasn't great but then we just decided to not to that in the biggest game of the season? While the Eagles certainly dominated the line of scrimmage the Chiefs didn't adjust at all.
All true.....

Yep. Philly's line play was obviously good but KC looked completely out of synch...almost like they didn't want to be there. It was weird.

They've been winning with smoke and mirrors for two years. Finally caught up to them. They'll still be a solid team while Mahomes is there but the dynasty is over.
They have been squeaking out a lot of close ones with Mahomes magic. The most impressive thing about Philly's D is that they didn't blitz once. Hell of a defensive performance.

Sorry my friend but that’s impossible. You don’t win 2 Super Bowls in a row and get to a 3rd on “smoke and mirrors.” There’s to much talent on teams like the Bills, the Ravens, the Niners and even 2 years ago the Eagles. And the coaching is to good. Chiefs were clearly not prepared yesterday and the Eagles deserved to win. But since nobody has been to 3 Super Bowls in a row in forever, and 5 of the last 7, and a play away from 6 if they weren’t offsides against the Patriots it’s a disservice to say ridiculous things like that.

The Chiefs had a game plan and by God they were sticking to it. Never mind they ran the ball 11 times all game when the Philly Dline was manhandling them on every pass play.

Sit back in their zone coverage, let the dline wreak havoc, win the game. Pretty simple as to why KC lost.

Which is basically the Iowa defense, and when we have 4 d linemen that can get after the QB and athletic corners it’s pretty effective. Still trying to figure out with Worthy who is basically getting a 6-8 yard cushion and Hopkins why they just didn’t take the 6-8 yards pass all day long? Especially since they had been doing that the last quarter of the season. Mahomes had been getting rid of the ball in just over 2 seconds the last 6-7 games. Mind blowing game plan.

Chiefs won’t win another Super Bowl and probably won’t play in another anytime soon. They’ll stay a solid team but they’re probably the 6th best team or so in the League now at best, and too much has gone right for them the past few years for them to continue the success they’ve had. JMO

I disagree, they will have cap space if Kelce retires, can draft reasonably well. They could make it in any of the next 3 years

Please stop posting this kind of stuff. So since Mahomes became the starter in 18, they've either made the AFC championship game or made the Super Bowl and won 3 of them in 7 years. The only AFC teams in that time span were the Patriots in 18 of course who they Chiefs beat if Dee Ford doesn't line up offsides ( I know, the refs always helping the Chiefs) and the Bengals in 21, who the Chiefs were leading 21-3 at home and lost. Oh, and this year they were 15-2. And yet you say there's 5 other teams better than them, and I'd certainly like to know who. The Bills? 0-4 against them in the playoffs. Ravens? Oh, they had their chance at home last year but couldn't do it. Please name me 4-5 teams in the AFC that are better than the Chiefs. Eagles? Sure. Certainly a more complete roster right now. Let's see how hungry they are next year. Maybe the Lions? Let's have them make a Super Bowl for the first time in their franchise history. It's hard. Niners time has come and gone. Who else please?

HIstory says they certainly will. But they clearly need to find a left tackle. O line needs to get better for sure. I'd love to see a particular Iowa running back end up here as well.

I see San Fran may be dumping Deebo. If KC was smart they would get him and a few new OLmen.
Deebo would be really good especially if he is healthy enough as he has had some injuries and since Rasheed Rice is probably going to jail.

And I posted on here and maybe in the off topic forum back about week 6 after the Chiefs had lost two OLine starters and one was the left tackle that they were going to have issues. That is when they started scoring less and squeaking out the wins.

I didnt think they would make the super bowl and the Bills should have had them even though I am a huge chiefs fan

I am a slight Chiefs fan. Haven't watched a NFL game all year, but the Chiefs just seem like a bunch of good guys, etc. (Also have a college friend that lives there). Anyway, I don't think it made enough difference for the loss, but kind of a big deal about the refs being bribed. Don't know too many details tho.

Sorry to strike such a cord with you. Didn't realize what a big Chiefs fan you were.

I'm just giving my opinion like everyone else. In addition to ebing a very good team for several years now, the Chiefs have also been exceptionally charmed; I feel like that string of good fortune may be over. When it comes to predicting future events, no one is more right than anyone else.

I think the Ravens and Eagles are the best teams in the NFL right now. The Bills and Lions are also at least as good as the Chiefs, but certainly have a lot of postseason demons to exorcise (The Chiefs hadn't gone to a Super Bowl in about 50 years before their breakthrough). The Chargers and Commanders not far behind and may surpass this fall. The Bengals, Steelers, Broncos & Dolphins could all beat the Chiefs on a given day, including in the postseason. The Rams, Packers and Vikings would all likely be favorites against the Chiefs at home, although I don't think any of them have a shot at the Super Bowl.

Peace
