Lots of chances to move up the next 2 weeks

In the next 4 games we don't play anyone we are tied or trailing.
The other 4 all play each other though(2-3x), so there are many guaranteed losses for some of them(hopefully all of them).

Long way to go, but seems now would be a great time to make a move in the standings.

The Big Ten is so good this year, no nights off. Every game we have left on our schedule is going to be a war. Road & home wins are a treasured commodity.
Fran has yet to break through in February when the Hawks have been ranked at the end of January so past history tells us to pump the brakes....
Fran is going to have to be smart in how he works his players from here on out. We're down to 5 or 6 players that can impact the game and wearing these players out is going to be an issue going forward. Rest between games is going to be paramount.

Getting 2 road wins would likely tie the Hawks with Illinois for most road wins in the Big10.

To the OP title, you are right. But being the pessimist I am, we also have a big chance to move down. (Sad to say) Too many years lately of disappointment..........
